Trusted Mole has been in better form than any of his rivals of late and is taken to land the finale at the main expense of Saxe-Coburg and Ben Kenobi. The last mentioned has been running well in Banded stakes races of late and in a weak looking contest, has to be respected. The handicapper has finally decided to drop Saxe-Coburg a couple of pounds but could do with some more help and of more interest may be Alan King's Silencio, who may do better now that he goes into a handicap for the first time. Brian Smart's Bond May Day has given little sign of encouragement this term and it is hard to get away from Trusted Mole. Mark Brisbourne's gelding ran up to his best over the extended 1m3f trip here last time. The extra furlong should not inconvenience the six-year-old, who remains well treated.
