Verdict

This provides an intriguing rematch between Vol Solitaire and Parlarshan and the task of splitting the pair is not an easy one. However, the hurdles form of the former would give the advantage to Vol Solitaire, who reached a ceiling of 142 over timber. The four-year-old gave the impression that a return to a left-handed course was required when he fell on his chasing debut at Hereford last month and today's course should see him in a better light. The underfoot conditions should also be to his liking and TEAMtalk give him another chance to get off the mark over fences. Eluna started off her British racing career with a brace of successes at Warwick last season but was found out when she had her sights raised at the Cheltenham and Punchestown Festivals. Kansas City is impossible to fancy in this company - so Palarshan is taken as the only real alternative to the favourite and is taken for the forecast.
