In depth

Verdict

Previous winner Up The Glen will be all the rage here running against some very slow horses. That winner at Hexham was his first win since his bumper days and he has stamina to prove but he still looks the best option and is the TEAMtalk selection. Rolling River was well beaten on his only outing over hurdles but raced as though he would be suited by this extra distance. Running Machine ran with promise on his last outing and is another who may relish this marathon trip. Tufty Hopper stayed all day on the Flat and has his second run over hurdles here. The market will be the best guide to the five-year-old's chances.
