In depth

Verdict

Initiative has been the most consistent of these of late and his previous good course form makes him the obvious TEAMtalk selection. Shalbeblue has shown good form around this time of year in the past and can not be overlooked especially since he is a three time course winner. The jockey booking is slightly worrying however. Dushaan has not been seen to his best effect for a couple of years and is best watched on his first start for his new stable. Sir Edward Burrow has shown in the past he runs well fresh. He will be suited by this trip but his trainer's form at present is worryingly bad. Prince Among Men will be popular following his bloodless victory at Hereford last time out. He has decent form in the past and could pose to biggest danger to the selection.
