Sotik Star leads our shortlist, ahead of Laish Ya Hajar and El Dececy. These amateur riders races can be hard to call though. Sotik Star was a recent second in a Windsor handicap, but has yet to recapture the all weather form of a couple of years ago when winning successive Lingfield handicaps. In truth though, there's not a lot here to beat. Laish Ya Hajar carries a penalty for winning last time out over 11 furlongs here. That was last week with Chris Catlin doing the steering, and it wasn't straightforward then, so it could be different with an inexperienced jockey on board. And El Dececy commands attention, placed in his 4 starts this season at a variety of distances. Last week he was third at Yarmouth in a similar contest after attempting to make all. He may set the pace again. But our final selection at Warwick is Sotik Star.
