Verdict
It's about time AWBEG MASSINI was winning one of these. Tim Vaughan's winning pointer has been placed in all four starts over hurdles and only beaten a neck over 3m at Chepstow two runs ago. The winner has franked the form with a subsequent second at Uttoxeter and he should have too much for these. Lone Ranger was a Listed winner on the Flat in France and showed he was going the right way over timber when third at Wincanton. The extra half-mile is in his favour and he rates the danger ahead of Sandown third Boss In Boots and hurdling debutant Cloudingstar. Toughness Danon has been busy on the all-weather but hasn't shown much over hurdles so far.
