ZARU made all to beat two rivals easily at Newcastle and would have followed up there a fortnight ago but for falling at the last. He's been far from fluent but is obviously useful and hopefully his jumping will hold together here. Eyre Apparent has plenty of experience but hasn't progressed as expected after slamming three rivals at Perth in August. Kykate won three times over hurdles and has shown enough over fences to suggest she'll be winning soon but Highrate quickly got rid of his rider at Carlisle and is best watched for now.
