Simply Wings had no answer to Rouge Et Blanc at Exeter and looks high enough in the weights but SAFRAN DE COTTE looks the one to be on despite a step-up in grade. Henry Daly's front-runner has made most for his two recent victories over 3m but he's won over today's trip at this track over hurdles and his handicap mark looks about right. Mr Syntax is also taking a step-up in class and may be a few pounds high but a bigger threat may arrive in the shape of Quincy Des Pictons. He looked a really smart prospect when scoring at Chepstow in December 2011 and all of his subsequent runs have been at a high level including the Murphys at Cheltenham in January.
