A competitive handicap for the getting out stakes and Rahy's Crown is selected ahead of Orvietan and Mambo Sun. Rahy's Crown looks to have taken some time to come to hand but his recent fourth at Lingfield was an encouraging run and he is certainly well handicapped on his juvenile form. Orvietan was recently beaten at Lingfield in a tactical affair. Things are much more likely to be staged at a normal pace today so he should not be written off so readily. Mambo Sun has the edge of race fitness having been busy on the all-weather this winter. He has questions to answer over the trip but the 7lb claim of his apprentice will be handy. Brabazon cost 105 000 guineas but has shown little on the racetrack. It could be worth chancing that he didn't handle the soft going last time out. Monte Mayor Junior was well supported before his last race so the market is watched on this step back to turf action. Marcello qualified for handicaps racing over shorter trips and a watching brief is advised. Rahy's Crown could be well in off today's mark and we shall chance him in the last.
