The experienced horses look nothing special and so we will turn to the newcomers for our three to watch for, Splendidio, Caj and Cavort, and we will give the vote to the last named. Cavort is a very early foal and is nicely bred by Vettori out of a Barathea mare. Trainer Pat Eddery has already made his mark this season and if this one attracts support take note. Caj is trained by Mick Quinn and is related to numerous winners including Knot In Wood. The stable have their juveniles in good form and a big run is expected. Any two-year-old of Mick Channon's deserves a second look and Splendidio catches the eye on pedigree being a well bred daughter of American sire Zamindar. Mrs Crossy may do best of the race fit runners, but, in a race where the betting market will be invaluable, Cavort just gets the verdict.
