Clipper Hoy gets a narrow vote in a wide open handicap, Wicked Uncle and Spanish Ace are two others expected to go well. The selection disappointed a little at Bath last week. However the ground was quite testing on that occasion and so he can be excused that effort. He is well in on the pick of his all-weather form and is given another chance this afternoon. Wicked Uncle just got up to beat Times Review at Lingfield last time and although a six pound penalty may stop him following up he should still be involved in the finish. Milton Bradley's Spanish Ace goes well fresh and has strong claims on the pick of last season's form. Cerulean Rose is another to consider for each-way purposes, but our idea of the winner is Clipper Hoy.
