Take Control (IRE) Had the National Trial at Uttoxeter at his mercy when falling two out. This is much easier and a clear round should make this a formality for Martin Pipe's exciting young prospect.
Tylo Steamer (IRE) Course and distance winner who loves heavy ground, but was pulled up last time and not likely to be good enough to trouble one or two of these. Could run into a place, though.
Con Tricks His only win came in a maiden hurdle and most unlikely to add to that here.
Hedante (IRE) Failed to complete in two of his three starts under rules, and beaten a distance in the other one.
Jack The Bear (IRE) Has certainly shown potential in his short career so far, and was second to Take Control at Newton Abbot in November. No reason why he should reverse the form, as he was well held that day, but good chance of reaching the frame at least.
Maori Chief (IRE) No form in four runs so far.
Saint Cecilia Fair hurdler who likes soft ground but faces a very stiff task on chasing debut.
Mighty Kilcash (IRE) Won well on good ground at Doncaster last time, but did win his bumper on heavy (Thurles). Yet to prove he stays this far, but still the one most likely to take advantage of any slip-ups by Take Control.
