In depth

Verdict

Arceye ran well for a long way at Towcester last time and has a rare trip away from Northamptonshire however the former point-to-point winner JUST PLAYFULL should fare much better now stepped up in trip. Mark Rimell's gelding never looked like featuring at Worcester over two miles on his comeback to the racetrack. However the handicapper has dropped him 3lb in the weights and this look like a much more realistic assignment. Jackie Boy looks a contender despite the fact that he was held when getting rid of his jockey last time out, whilst old-timer Treasulier has been off the track for 565 days but used to be hard to peg back from the front when in his pomp. Zimbabwe should come on for his distant fourth at Chepstow last time out, Alderbrook Girl has a good young jockey aboard and would be a player with more rain, whilst Strolling Vagabond has had a consistently good 2009 and is unlikely to be far away come the line. Course and distance winner Overton Lad and Hever Road need respect from the right end of the weights, however it is Just Playfull who can land the spoils.
