In Toto appeals as the type to fare better now handicapping and gets the vote although a market check is advised. At first glance there may be little obvious encouragement to be gleaned from an eight and a half length sixth of seven to an animal rated just forty one but it would be surprising if that proved to be the ceiling of his ability and the handicapper has probably erred on the side of caution in allotting a mark of fifty seven. That mark is due to his promising debut over six furlongs and his breeding suggests that he was unlikely to be seen at his best on two subsequent runs over the minimum; it's no great surprise to see this well bred individual stepped back up in trip for his handicap bow and he may be able to make it a winning one. A good number of these are unexposed which complicates matters and Michael Tabor's colours can't have been seen too often in 0-75s at Warwick but Colour Of Money will be carrying them this afternoon and is bred to be considerably better than he's shown to date and looks to be heading in the right direction. There's also plenty to like about the profile of Dan Chillingoworth who hails from a yard that could be on the cusp of a return to form and that does well here whilst Lucullus is a half-brother to Skhilling Spirit and is starting life on a fair mark. Delta Diva showed a good attitude when winning her sole start, Whiteoak Lady looks poised to run a big race and Benedetto and Secret Gem are by no means out of this. A good race in prospect but plenty are in with chances and we're not a great deal nearer to finding the winner; hopefully the market will point us in the direction of In Toto.
