With plenty of pace in the race we'll take WANCHAI WHISPER to cut down the likes of Jigajig, Fear Nothing and Lucky Flyer late on. Our pick ran on strongly to take a six furlong Windsor handicap two starts ago before catching the eye here last time. That day he came home well in a race run to suit those racing prominently and, as he carried a penalty that day, is actually 2lbs lower now. The concern is the drop back to the minimum trip but the likes of Jigajig and Fear Nothing could set the race up for him. Kevin Ryan's Jigajig is the more interesting of the pair as he's won four times already this term and ran well off this mark of 72 last time. Connections try cheek-pieces for this drop back to five furlongs and that combination of factors makes him the one to beat. However, Fear Nothing may well give him something to think about up front. Ed McMahon's horse has been most disappointing having started favourite on more than one occasion this term without winning and this seven-race maiden is hard to fancy until he's shown the right attitude. However, he has a 7lb pull at the weights for a half-length defeat behind Jigajig when the pair met at Wolverhampton and should make his presence felt. Lucky Flyer likes to sit close to the pace and both her wins have come at this trip but she's work to do with Wanchai Whisper on their meeting at Windsor, Six Diamonds came up against a well-treated rival last time but is another who likes to dominate and we feel Wanchai Whisper may be the one to pick up the pieces from the protracted early battle.
