Milly Waters is just preferred to gain a deserved success at the expense of Fabuco and some interesting newcomers, including Fujisawa and Marysienka. Mark Brisbourne's filly was runner-up to a couple of smart performers on her first two starts before disappointing slightly at Pontefract last time. Overall though, she has shown enough to win a race like this and is probably the safest option here. Fabuco created a favourable impression when third to a useful sort on her debut at Ripon and should also go close, while Richard Hannon saddled the winner of this race last year and Marysienka is a speedily bred filly who on jockey bookings looks to be the pick of the trainer's two runners and would have to be feared. Others to note on their racecourse debuts are Mick Channon's Fujisawa and Brian Meehan's Lucayan Beauty. The latter makes particular appeal on breeding, although the stable's horses have tended to need a run this season.
