Verdict

SEXTONS HOUSE won well on his debut and can continue in his winning ways at the expense of Kissing Clara and Malice Or Mischief. The selection landed the odds on his debut at Goodwood and did it in fine style in the process. He is bred to get further in time but with conditions in his favour he is difficult to oppose. Kissing Clara has more experience than most but has improved throughout the summer months. She ran a personal best at Beverley on her latest start finishing second of twelve in the process and if she recaptures that form she is sure to be in the shake up once again. Malice Or Mischief won on his debut at Chepstow for trainer Ralf Beckett but disappointed next time out when sent off favourite at Bath. That is not an uncommon thing to happen being known as the "bounce" theory, that said he should not be totally dismissed this time around and is worth noting in the betting market. Sextons House is still unexposed and is worth keeping on the right side of for the time being.
