BAJAN PRIDE is pretty dependable and he can see off Angel Of Fashion and King's Sabre in a competitive opener. Richard Fahey's son of Selkirk is adaptable when it comes to ground conditions and comes here in good form. A 5lb rise in the weights for his Carlisle win is the reason that he is dropped into selling grade but with confidence high he should feature prominently under the in-form Paul Hanagan. King's Sabre is consistent and his recent form at the track is solid for this level, Eastern Hills is out of form but is not dismissed on the figures, whilst Peter Tchaikovsky needs to bounce back as he sports blinkers for the first time as he drops in grade. Of more interest however is Angel Of Fashion who was the winner of a decent enough seller at Redcar last month and if she can forget a handicap flop at Newcastle since then she should run well. Interesting stuff but the vote is safely given to Bajan Pride.
