A lovely cavalry charge to end the evening and from a shortlist of LAKE CHINI, King Of Swords, Tournedos and Darcy's Pride it is the first-named who is nominated. Mick Easterby's gelding won at Carlisle at the end of May before acquitting himself well over six furlongs next time up. The return to a stiff five furlongs on quick ground will be ideal and with David Allan back in the saddle a bold bid is expected. Danum Dancer is back down to a fair mark and should come on for his run here last month, King Of Swords is well-handicapped now and he tends to run into form in the coming months so watch the market for support, whilst Soto drops two furlongs in trip and is not discounted from his good draw. Tournedos' close-up second at Hamilton was a step in the right direction, Divine Spirit is well-treated, whilst Darcy's Pride is consistent and seems in rude health at present. Port Ronan and Fantasy Fighter are two more to consider however the most tentative of votes goes to Lake Chini.
