GO FOR ONE has sound claims of recording a third career success and is preferred to Pacco and Pop Ahead. The selection was the subject of a morning gamble that continued on the track when making his seasonal reappearance at Exeter. He had dropped a long way down the weights having lost his way but had clearly benefited from a switch of yards. He's due to race from a 6lb higher mark in future and can strike whilst the iron's hot. Pacco progressed well over hurdles, winning his last two starts, and has to be of interest pitched straight into handicap company for his chase bow. The yard's horses are running well but this looks to be quite an ask taking on some experienced performers. Foxspur's fortunes need to be revived by headgear and the switch to chasing whilst De Boitron and Solid As A Rock are probably best watched as they have their first run on these shores and back from an absence respectively. Kikos appeared to have the race at his mercy when falling at Market Rasen and races from the same mark but the ground is a good deal softer. Gus is another making his chase debut who could go well but Pop Ahead has more obvious claims having filled third behind Venetia Williams runner at Exeter but we'll take Go For One to confirm the form.
