Have the notebook handy for this race because it features some really nice types. Ferdy Murphy recently flagged up The Hollinwell as one of his nicest prospects but there are plenty of others here of interest too. We'll suggest BACCHANALIANBERTIE but would have to fear the representatives from the big yards. Bluegun won nicely over course and distance in April, the form looks solid and he has plenty of scope. Great Endeavour is also penalised following a ready success at Southwell although the runner-up has since been turned over at odds-on. That pair both won point-to-points in Ireland as did Ballygaddy and Project Gallery who have to be entertained on their debuts under Rules. The Hollinwell appeared to be rather immature last year as he was left at the start at Bangor on debut then wouldn't go past the eventual winner at Towcester when galloping all over him. He was much better behaved at Carlisle on his third start and went on to run a fine race in a warm bumper at Aintree. This should be his trip but he may need more time. The selection was heavily supported ahead of his sole start at Exeter but his lack of experience cost him dearly in the closing stages. The winner is a fair sort though and the pair finished a long way clear of the field. The yard won this race with one of their bright prospects a couple of years ago and could, once more, have cause to celebrate with Bacchanalianbertie. (Ian Ogg)
