WINDWOOD LAD, another raider from the Michael O'Hare yard, looks the one to beat. He landed a 2m4f Down Royal handicap in good fashion prior to running a solid third behind Our Nana Rose off a 9lb higher mark last time. That sets the standard here with Chris Grant's ex-Irish charge, Molaise Lad, looking next best after joining the northern yard this summer from the John Joseph Hanlon stable. He was a fair third on his debut for the yard in a Southwell seller and has decent Irish maiden hurdle form to his name. Tony McCoy is a rare booking for this handler.
