Verdict
Black Anthem has won over hurdles and fences and is more than capable if on a going day. Methag is often placed but hasn’t won since the end of 2019. Having been held up well off the pace, HATTAAB did well to get up close home at Worcester earlier this month. He’s only gone up 3lb and a double could be on the cards given Smart Getaway has been raised 4lb for finishing second at Perth. Get An Oscar never looked like catching the winner at Worcester last time but is 8lb lower than for his last win.
