Solaise Express and Tocatchaprince look the pick of the newcomers, however MIC'S DELIGHT impressed on debut at Kempton and is fancied to carry his penalty to victory. Vic Dartnall's gelding was unfancied at 20/1 last month but he picked up well in the closing stages to see off Shammick Boy by over a length. The third has since run well in defeat and the feeling is that he can cope with his penalty today. Five Star Wilsham didn't seem to go on from first to second runs but this better ground may see him in a more positive light, whilst similar comments apply to Islamouth who remains capable of better. Seymour Eric is bred to stay, Solaise Express cost £90,000 but he too is also bred to come into his own over further, so of more interest may be Dirty Deal who has shaped with promise in all three starts to date. The flat-bred Drumlang is not a horse one would normally associate with Henrietta Knight, L'Accordioniste is related to several winning point-to-pointers, whilst Tocatchaprince is more speedily bred and shouldn't be far away. Tazzarine cost £52,000 and has a rather eye-catching pedigree, being related to plenty of winners over in France. She needs a market check, but with youth on her side she may just need some more time. An interesting race, but the vote goes to the proven Mic's Delight.
