CAPTIVE AUDIENCE is the call with J'Adhere and Shoegazer on the shorltist. Rebecca Curtis has gone to the trouble of booking Barry Geraghty aboard the son of Saddlers Hall and while this is the first run for new connections, the yard are very much in form. His last run in Ireland saw him make all. J'Adhere is one of the usual battalion of runners from the Evan Williams stable. A winner of a bumper for Peter Winkworth, he ran relatively well under penalties without quite being able to follow up. David Pipe has his horses in fine form at present so Shoegazer could be capable of improvement. A winner of an Irish point, he stays much further than this though has shaped fairly green on his appearances under rules thus far. Oursininlaw has ran creditably in bumpers and would not be out of contention on some of the best of his Irish form. Cresswell Pride faced a very difficult task in opposing Black Jack Blues at the last meeting. That said, he was a fair second on the day and could conceivably be capable of building upon that effort. Strumble Head has to reverse form and has given no signs on the racecourse of doing so. Captive Audience is the call.
