Verdict
Our Hero should run well if his jumping holds up, however BUFFALO BOB should appreciate a return to the track and is preferred to the hat-trick seeking Carrickmines. The selection wasn't beaten far at Newbury when last seen and although his mark is creeping up he still looks capable of winning off this mark 121. If he finds the ground a bit lively, then it may pay to side with Junior. He may not be the most resolute battler but as a result his mark of 131 looks manageable compared to his hurdles rating and this ground is in his favour as well. Summery Justice impressed when winning at Kempton on his chasing debut and looks open to untold improvement, Kawagino is in good form at present but has become a bit of a Plumpton specialist, whilst The Shy Man and Carrickmines both come here on the back of solid wins. This ground will really suit bottom-weight Arctic Echo, whilst Sarde and King Jack both have a bit to prove after their latest starts. An open handicap, but Buffalo Bob is fancied to score.
