In depth

Verdict

An awful seller and Shalati Princess is taken to account for Nortonthorpe Lad and Fantasy Legend. Tim Vaughan's stable have landed a couple of touches in this grade of late and the booking of Richard Johnson seems significant. The mare ran a solid race on bottomless going at Worcester on debut for her new trainer and on this faster surface, she can make it 33rd time lucky. Nortonthorpe Lad is partnered by leading point-to-point rider, Ollie Greenall. He probably gets this trip but his Bangor run represented a below par effort on balance. Fantasy Legend hails from a yard that are winning races at the moment although she has scarcely troubled the judge of late. Sonnengold isn't particularly resolute and seems sure to challenge for yet another placing. Barati is flattered by his BHA rating and hasn't seemed able to run anywhere near it of late. Wotchalike has the booking of AP McCoy and is sure to be popular. He is capable of landing this although the fast ground is arguably against him tonight. Lord Adonis has not built upon a couple of decent runs in juvenile company. Global Strategy has proved a severe disappointment and is dropped into the grade for the first time. Not a race for the housekeeping monies and Shalati Princess is the pick.
