This looks a tricky race to open up with and we will give the tentative vote to Deo Valente with both Hawk Island and Liberation Spirit worth noting. The selection showed vast improvement from his debut to finish an eye catching third of fourteen here last time out and with this step up to a mile conditions should be ideal for a solid run. Hawk Island will pose as the biggest danger as he again improved for the experience when finishing second to Tarkheena Prince at Nottingham last time out so any market moves should be noted. Liberation Spirit ran with great credit in defeat at Great Leighs. That said he was beaten a long way that day so improvement will be needed to trouble the judge here. So for the winner we return to Deo Valente.
