Nisaal is the tentative selection from Art Trend and Dancer In Demand in a race where the market should prove to be informative. John Dunlop's Indian Ridge colt was relatively short in the betting for his debut in a Newmarket maiden that has seen the second, third and sixth all go on to win and the winner finish third in the Group 3 Chester Vase. He made some progress from the rear before tiring in the closing stages and should be all the better for the run although he has work to do from his draw. Art Trend has made the frame on both starts but will probably need to post an improved performance if he's to open his account today. Special Reserve and Dubai Samurai are beginning to look exposed and It's A Date is best watched today despite having shown promise last year. Solar Max, One Oak, Filun and Water Violet should all be watched with interest but it would be no surprise were the superbly bred Dancer In Demand to fare best of the newcomers. We'll side with experience though and award the vote to Nisaal.
