City Affair has been in good form of late but Tim Vaughan's gelding may be a shade high in the weights and a better bet looks to be the hat-trick seeking DAN RYAN, who gets the verdict over Milton Des Bieffes. The nine-year-old won well at Worcester on soft ground last month and he has every chance if able to reproduce the same level of form on the faster ground today. Nigel Hawke's Brave Jo has run better in his last two starts but probably needs some help from the handicapper and of more interest may be Jonjo O'Neill's On You Go, who was pulled up on his belated reappearance at Bangor recently having been badly bumped four out. Richard Guest's Chorizo won well at Market Rasen last week but a 7lb penalty makes this tougher and a safer option seems to be Dan Ryan. David Pipe's gelding won a lot more easily at Newton Abbot last month than he had done the time before and, judged by that latest effort, he should be able to defy the hefty 20lb rise for that success.
