Orki Des Aigles stepped up considerably on his reappearance run when running out the good winner of the Lincolnshire National at Market Rasen on Boxing Day and he has to be considered but Ferdy Murphy's gelding is now 10lbs higher in the weights and a better bet may be TWILIGHT EAGLE, who gets the vote over Killard Point. Caroline Bailey's gelding has been placed in his last four starts and should again be thereabouts, especially having been dropped another 2lbs by the handicapper. Getinbybutonlyjust showed signs of a return to form at Newcastle last time and has slipped to a fair mark, while Maori Legend has been much improved of late but does have a career high mark to defy as a result. Phardessa has run well in all three starts this term and should again be thereabouts but a better bet looks to be Twilight Eagle. Jonjo O'Neill's gelding is lightly raced but has improved with each start, running well on his first outing in a handicap last time, and he is taken to open his account today.
