Verdict

Not an easy race to enthuse over but we'll take a chance with SNOWBALL as he's produced winning form over timber in the past year, has had a pretty light 2016 campaign and should improve for his chasing debut at Stratford last month. Copperfacejack ran well enough here when filling the minor placing behind Billy Two Tongues to suggest he'll be involved but does need to inject a level of consistency into his overall profile. He remains a maiden under Rules. Daulys Anthem has a pointing success to his name which indicates there may be improvement to come now he goes chasing for although recent efforts over timber have not augured well. Brokethegate could provide most danger on the level of his penultimate start when fourth to My Friend George at Kelso but proved very unruly the last day before falling early.
