BERMEO could not have scored more easily at Worcester nine days ago in handicap hurdle company so it's rather surprising to see Johnny Farrelly transfer him to a first start over fences. He is, however, on an attractive mark if taking to the larger obstacles and it's hard to oppose him after that facile success with Liam Heard retaining the ride. Grand Gigolo has just the three runs to his name over fences and is going the right way with his recent fifth of 16 at Worcester behind Peterbrown, beaten just under 6l, bringing him into calculations, although he's not always proved the most reliable in the past. Right Enough and Mollies Gent arrive from the pointing arena and tackle regulation fences for the first time, whilst Jackfield has shown enough over timber to suggest he's one to watch here if taking to the larger obstacles.
