Don Cantillon's Joshua justified solid support in the market when landing a handicap chase at Huntingdon last month and he has every chance of following up here but the 7lb penalty for that success may prevent him from winning again and a better bet looks to be MY CONDOR, who gets the vote ahead of Trafalgar Man. Micky Hammond's gelding has been in good form of late with wins at Hexham in May and June but he has paid the penalty at the hands of the handicapper for those successes and may now be a shade high in the weights. Moulin De La Croix cannot be discounted for Nigel Twiston-Davies but he would need to improve on all known form to trouble the judge, while Neil Mulholland's I'm A Legend has similarly been well held in recent starts. Diane Sayer's Troodos Jet has run better in his last couple of starts and has to be considered but a better bet looks to be My Condor. Don McCain's gelding has slipped to a decent mark and, having shown improved form in recent starts the eight-year-old looks worth siding with.
