Don Cantillon's Alfie's Sun won well at Stratford when last seen in July 2009 but would probably prefer a faster surface for his reappearance so looks best left out of calculations, while David Pipe's Frosted Grape still has a penalty to carry for his win at Hereford at the beginning of the month and may struggle to do so successfully as was the case at Worcester last week. Moulin de La Croix showed improved form when successful at Newton Abbot on Monday and has claims but this may come too soon for him under his penalty. Tony McCoy takes the ride on Jonjo O'Neill's Kilshannig, who has been running consistently well but, unless the ground dries out, McCoy may be on the wrong O'Neill runner as stable companion BADGER FOOT will be better suited by the underfoot conditions and gets the vote to resume winning ways.
