Mark Usher's Diamond Dee deserves to get her head in front following placed efforts in her last two starts and the four-year-old has to be considered off her light weight but she is not certain to get as far as this so a better bet looks to be Martin Todhunter's CAILIN NA RI, who has run well under a penalty since scoring at Sedgefield in April. Alison Thorpe's Calon Crwbin is best in at the weights judged by official BHA ratings but was very disappointing at Newton Abbot on soft ground last time and he looks best left out of calculations with rain forecast. Tim Vaughan's Totoman has struggled since winning at Bangor in June and is another that may not appreciate this far, while Paul Webber's Black Annie would not want any softening of the going.
