In depth

Verdict

Apt To Run has solid claims judged by official BHA ratings, especially after chasing home Bolton Hall on a softish surface at Ffos Las last month but marginal preference is for Jim Best's GAMESTERS LADY, who has been harshly punished by the handicapper for her win at Chepstow and looks worth siding with now dropped into a seller. Tri Nations has been running consistently well of late but has plenty to find on ratings, while Petrosian is better on a faster surface. Michael Blake's Sadler's Star has won on a soft surface on the flat so has to be considered but Gamesters Lady looks a better bet and gets the vote.
