In depth

Verdict

Althrey Dandy, Beaugencey and The Mighty Sparrow are three against the field in a tough race to call for punters and the narrow vote is given to Althrey Dandy. The selection was a fair second behind Good Man Again last time out, that sets the standard in the context of this race and under conditions that suit he need only run up to that mark to win this. The Mighty Sparrow rates the main danger as he was also a fair second last time out behind Honan last time out but he has risen in the weights for been beaten and for that reason he is opposed. Beaugencey rates is another worthy of respect he still held every chance in a race won by Lannmire Tower last time out and if his jumping holds up he will not be far away. Mantilla has the ability to go close of this mark but he is far from straight forward and is another to have reservations about. Of the remainder High Peak is game and consistent and is sure to run his race but he may be vulnerable to a less exposed type and for the winner we return to Althrey Dandy.
