In depth

Verdict

GERALDO won a point for Ellmarie Holden at Stowlin in May last year and was having his first start for Gordon Elliott when runner-up to a stable companion at Kilbeggan a couple of weeks ago. He'll be a warm order here and looks another for the Elliott/Codd partnership. Derek O'Connor has been booked for the selection's former stable companion Knockwilliambridge but his mount needs massive improvement from his Galway debut. Finny Maguire rides No Strangers Here, who ran quite well for Philip Hobbs at Wincanton on Boxing Day but pulled up over hurdles the following month. Patrick Mullins gets the ride on She's Got Rhythm for Shay Barry and she's a sister to a winning hurdler.
