Verdict

Two of the three previous winners carried penalties and it could pay to stick with FINAL VOYAGE, who made all over today’s trip at Chelmsford. Henrik also made every yard when winning at Chepstow and can figure again while Farhan was only caught close home at Wolverhampton. Farasi Lane finished in front of Maker Of Light over 6f at Newbury though much better is expected from the latter over this longer trip. State Patrol is a half-brother to nine winners including Group 1 winner The Last Lion while Gear Up is a full-brother to a couple of winners in Ireland including the smart Guaranteed and is preferred to stablemate Pillar Of Hope of the newcomers.
