Verdict

Some big stables are represented but RULE THE WIND is given the vote despite being the stable second string on jockey bookings. Though a beaten favourite latest, his previous run less than a month before when a half-length runner-up at Tipperary reads well. Stable companion Katou, the choice of Paul Townend, produced a bumper debut of some promise and commands respect along with Gordon Elliott's Nottodaybobo, who showed ability in four bumper runs. The Folkes Tiara is interesting for Henry De Bromhead even though he's been plying his trade over fences recently.
