BENAYOUN is selected ahead of Tooka, Owain James and Moymore. The last named is, by all accounts, a striking individual and, as a half-brother to a winning hurdler/chaser, he also looks the part on paper. However, he faded tamely on his debut in a Market Rasen bumper last month and, as he is dropped to this level to make his hurdling debut, it doesn't require the assistance of a crystal ball to surmise that he is highly unlikely to be a stable star for Jonjo O'Neill. Moymore is, however, a candidate for support by virtue of being the mount of Tony McCoy. Owain James ran well in a similar race at Stratford last August - showing enough to suggest he can score at this level. However, he does need to prove his fitness and others may have on edge over him today. Tooka has run out of his skin in each of his last two starts and, assuming he can string a it out for a third time; he can make the frame while he is in a good frame of mind. However, Benayoun has a more consistent profile and, even though he jumped out to the left here in a similar race eight days ago; he is easily up to taking this by the scruff of the neck if he keeps his mind on the task in hand.
