All have form to recommend them in a tricky contest. Swizzler has landed two of his last three and looks on the improve but has shown the best of his form with cut in the ground. Edlomond is in fine form at present as he too has scored on two of his last three runs, both of which came on the soft although he does boast good ground wins on his career profile too. Both should run well but GRAMS AND OUNCES is taken to defy topweight, especially as his amateur pilot claims a valuable 7lb. A course winner, he stayed on to good effect to gain the minor placing at Warwick recently behind Herons Heir and should appreciate this additional yardage. His enjoyment of good ground just sways matters in his favour. Trapper Peak and Valseur Du Granval are not easily discounted either.
