Verdict

Marju's Quest is not always easy to catch right but was most impressive a week ago under Aidan Coleman and should give a good account in attempting to defy topweight and a 7lb penalty. He has the ability to do so but there's a niggling concern that his best form has been delivered on sharper, quicker tracks - directly opposite to what he faces here. Therefore PERSPICACE is offered as an alternative on the back of his best effort yet since joining David Pipe from Roger Charlton. Overall he's been somewhat low-key and dropped down the ratings accordingly but that was a much improved run last time at Exeter and he should be competitive off a mark of 110. Fields of Glory has scope for progression and is noted along with Gin And Tonic.
