Verdict

Eiri Na Casca won over the course and distance a year ago and has continued in decent form while Net D'Ecosse ran his best race for some time at Limerick a fortnight ago. A Sizing Network has been running in tough handicaps but could do with some rain while this is a stiff task for a five-year-old mare but MISS SASSIE ran so well when runner-up in the Galway Plate Trial at Limerick that she's handed the vote to go one better. Cecil Corbett and Fenlon's Hill battled out a finish at Downpatrick with the former just having the edge but Paul Stafford's charge should reverse the form on the revised terms. Monbeg Chit Chat was in touch when falling 3 out here in May and gained compensation over 2m at Punchestown. He has no problems with the longer trip and looks a live danger.
