In depth

Verdict

Johnny Murtagh was on board Ultra Cool for the first time when she won impressively at Roscommon on Monday and retains the mount here. She will find ground conditions much quicker but is in such good form that she is certain to take some beating. However, CHEROKEE BRAVE was also impressive when landing a maiden at the Curragh by five lengths from subsequent winner Jazz Girl and he starts out in handicaps off what could prove to be a very lenient mark. Casela Park is incredibly consistent but has only won on Polytrack and continues to climb the weights without winning. Westtower Boy was having his first start since December when a short-head behind Joe Eile over a mile at Naas where he would have won in a couple of strides. He's on the short-list as is Late Day Sun, whose 5lb rise for her victory at the Curragh is by no means excessive.
