Crown Dependency hasn't been disgraced in a couple of Group races over 5f since beating Ewell Place on his debut over this trip at Goodwood. He has the highest official rating of these and shouldn't be far away again. Richard Hannon also saddles Magic City and Moustache, while Tim Easterby has a good record in this and has a couple of interesting entries in Ponty Acclaim, who ran well in the Weatherbys Super Sprint, and Roger Sez, who has won her last three starts. West Leake Diman has won his first two starts but that's earned him a 3lb penalty for this and Barry Hills also has Letsgoroundagain and Red Art in the starting line-up. Course winner Miss Work Of Art is also penalised but Irish raider Hestian won his only start at Naas last month and has scope. GERFALCON ran green when beaten by Moon Pearl on debut at Ascot but looked much more the finished article when scoring at Salisbury next time. The second and third have both franked the form since, while the fourth ran well in defeat at Windsor. Trainer Brian Meehan has also won this three times in the last 10 years and his Hawk Wing gelding can add to that tally.
