Division two of this moderate handicap looks wide open but a chance is taken with MICK SLATES. He's yet to win for Tony Martin but scored twice on soft ground when trained in the UK and has been performing with credit on much faster going than he would have liked. High Focus hasn't had much experience but probably has more to offer in these conditions but Malicious Intent last ran over 1m3f at Killarney so this is probably too short. Snap Click disappointed here last time after scoring over a mile on fast going at Gowran but the lightly-raced Escapism wasn't beaten far at Dundalk and has slipped to a fair mark so should get into the frame with normal improvement.
