A low-grade handicap with few in the best of form. Hatton Cross has only won once in 24 starts but is very consistent and could snatch a place again. But he finished behind Apache Gold at Cork last October and the latter has continued to run well so should be thereabouts. No Way Jack has yet to win and didn't appear to stay 1m1f on heavy ground at Ballinrobe while Magia Del Corso has done all of her racing so far over a mile where she's been staying on. CASH OR CASUALTY's last success was in April at Cork from exactly the same mark as this. The going was testing that day so with conditions in his favour he can gain victory number nine of his career.
