In depth

Verdict

Brosna George was a 40/1 chance for his debut at Killarney but belied the odds with a promising run and will undoubtedly improve for the experience. TESSERACT didn't show much on his debut at Fairyhouse in April but made great strides to finish third in a huge field at Punchestown three weeks later, form that should be good enough for this unless one of the newcomers is above average though Phar Island, who finished mid-division, made some late headway and could get into the frame. Sixth Avenue has a smart pedigree for jumping and has Nina Carberry on board while Jamie Codd's mount Walkers Point is also likely to do better when facing a set of obstacles.
